This is scaled down Telelever front suspension just like all their motorcycle from the mid 90s to ? I haven’t been a BMW motorcycle tech since 04. So honestly I’m not even sure if it’s still in production.
Basically it stops the front end diving on hard braking. It’s pretty insane how well it works!

Telelever front end is pretty wild. Too bad there’s no cool BMW color scheme (or shaft drive).

An even better idea would be to “crosslink” front and rear suspencion like on Citroen for ultimate bump compliance. This is on my “to do” list for a recumbent 🙂
