  1. "That is the biggest attack of the year so far!"
Well, until now we've only seen scripted Aussie crits, so that doesn't say a lot. That said, great job by Pidcock.

  2. This doesn't seem like it will go over well in this comment section with all the solid Pidcock fans but I'm going to speak freely . . .
First of all i like the way Tom races. Hes very talented but I dont like his character. Lets get that out of the way but as a fan of INEOS (SKY) since the very beginning I have to say I'm glad they got rid of Tom. He is a problem child. He went against team orders on several occasions which some riders choose to do but the times Tom did that he did NOT produce. If you're going to go against team orders or attack a fellow teammate you better make sure you win!! Tom didn't do that. He was his own worst enemy. He thought he was bigger and better than he was. He wasn't a team player. He needed to be knocked down a peg or 3. He is a GREAT AND TALENTED RIDER but he wasn't the right fit for INEOS. I'm not surprised to see him producing wins so early with his new team. It was bound to happen. He wants to show Q36.5 that he's worthy of a contract and wants to give them some solid results to prove his worth and also let his old team see they will miss him (which they won't). I'm not going to take this win away from him (obviously I couldn't do that if I tried nor would I want to), WELL DONE Tom but he's not going to have the opportunities he would have had with INEOS if he would have done what was asked of him but he may also get some OTHER chances that he would not have had with INEOS. He will be the "golden child" that he always wanted to be over at Q36.5. It may even be WORSE for his ego. I really don't know. I'm just glad he's winning and I'm also glad INEOS got rid of him. He just won't get the support he would have had on INEOS because Q36.5 doesn't have the riders to fully support him, YET. He also won't make some of the big races he would have had a chance to be part of at INEOS. Is it worth it??? I think it IS worth it for Q36.5 and maybe even Tom but I'm waiting to see if he gets the opportunities and WINS he has wanted for so long. Personally I don't think so

  3. I hope the cash makes him happy.

He's 24 and went from frontman of one of the biggest teams to a proconti racer winning a 2.1 stage…

I know Ineos has lost the plot but Tom, if you meet an asshole in the morning, you met an asshole in the morning. If you meet 5 assholes during the day maybe it's you
