Love this. Was there a few weeks ago (port stop on a cruise… sorry, local Spaniards). I hadn't heard of Malaga before and was impressed by all the bike lanes and cyclists everywhere
As the next lake effect snow band tracks through Albany, NY, Spain sure looks appealing.

Nice place. I was wondering about the use of English language in the shop. I can understand an English speaker would be using his mother tongue, but what about the signs on the wall? Wouldn't it be prudent to have them in Spanish? I'm confused.

Take a trip to Bordeaux and Toulouse. Not so many amazing bike shops, but mile after mile of fabulous separated bike routes (velo vert)

Malaga is a gorgeous city. I hope you get to see some of the sights. Check out the less race-oriented bike shop/cafe Recyclo not far from that shop. Nice coffee, food, and they are a Brompton dealer.

Russ, can’t believe you’re in our neck of the woods! I’m from hood river OR and we moved to Competa Spain a few years ago. If you want a tour of some of the best gravel riding from white village to white village please come by! We have a place for you guys to stay, bicycles if you didn’t bring yours and we might even feed you!

Being a winter bike commuter, that stainless indoor bike washing station looks so nice (if that's what it is?). I can't wash the road salt off because the water freezes to the frame. Sigh.

Malaga and other south Spain areas may be superior than Girona IN WINTER due to their weather and temperature. BUT in summer they are unrideable because very hot temperatures make riding dangerous. With temperatures around 40 Celsius or more every day

Have you considered organizing tours? Seems like a logical progression. People know you, they like you and you know the prime areas to visit and ride.

Their store is pretty. However it’s too sanitized. Reminds me of Trek or REI stores. Definitely not a typical community bike shop.

I have zero interest in a bike shop like that but I hope they are doing well.
Great video, have been in Girona and rented from ESC over a dozen times and met Chris there, looking forward to getting down to Malaga at the end of this year for the first time 🚴♂️🚴♂️
