Saturday sunny, lol ride into London to Surrey Quays, to the big Decathlon, almost 52 miles there’s a 200 foot climb at the end , killer becomes a push bike. In parts. Yeah I was layer up before Christmas, like you I agree a motor is not the answer for same reasons, plus… No motor = no insurance, no number plate, no licence, no tax (gona do all these to ebikes) best of all no speeeeeeeed limit ❤
Love the videos. Ride videos are good, but this type is a variation which in my opinion is a good thing. I have just bit the bullet and purchased what I think is a decent fatty (Kona Woo). My old one was from fb marketplace and turned out to have a slightly bent frame complete with a bent rear axle so must have been a big impact. Spent more time trying to fix it than actually riding it. Anyway, love the variation so keep doing what you are doing. Oh, what happened to the technical videos? Enjoyed those as well.

I was worried you were going to hate on ebikes, but you were spot on. You do you, is exactly how it should be.
I wont bore you with a lengthy explanation, but after a very long time a way from bikes, I got to borrow a friends ebike, i went out and did a long ride, it was amazing and it instantly got me back into biking. I bought myself a second hand ebike and i haven't looked back, I' ve been out every week, without fail, since July, Ive lost weight, way stronger, way happier and im really enjoying it, I ride with as little assistance as I can. Its got me back into cycling, I have a desire to get back out on my old Kona, normal bike, ive talked to you before about that. But the more I see you on the fat bikes, the more curious about them I am, they look like a hoot to ride ! I might just keep the kona as it was meant be and set my sights on a fatty. 😄

Great content graham. Ive just bought a surly grappler from slam69 and i love it. Ill be looking at doing the surly100 if i can get the time off and twist my mates arm to do it.
Never get bored of seeing those old haunts. When was the last time you made your way over to Randwick? Make a brew and enjoy the view from Haresfield. Loving your work mate.

Completely agree about E-bikes & fatties. No shortcuts! I've had every type of bike & I've never been more confident & enthusiastic about riding. Fatties are just bloody good fun!

Great vid again. By the way I must say I’m extremely impressed with squirt lube. Started using couple weeks ago. Was out today and very mucky , a light hose down and it was sparkling ! Dried and reapplied . Breath of fresh air !!! Thanks for recommendation!
