  1. I live in wednesbury, its is declining as are most towns in the UK these days. I will say though i'd rather live in the area of wednesbury I do than live in most of the areas around it

  3. @TC AUDITS & VLOGS. Thank for 'taking me along for the ride', bro. 👍✅☑✔🇬🇧 I've lived in Wednesbury for most of my life … apart from when I left and joined the Army, and for a short time after my discharge … went to live on Charlemont Farm Estate and West Brom, then, but I've moved back to Friar Park, about a mile to a mile and half from Wednesbury town centre.

Things have definitely deteriorated in Wednesbury town centre over the years, but the same could be said for many towns in the country nowadays.

That little book shop that you pointed out that's been closed for a very long time now used to sell second hand books. One of our local authors, Ian Bott, had several of his books on sale in that book shop, and I donated hundreds of books and magazines to them so that people could, hopefully get some use out of them.

I'm still waiting for a response from that cop shop. About 30 years ago, I phoned to tell them that someone had tried breaking into my shed … while I was in there. I used to have my computer down there, and I'd running electic cabling to it, and I'd got the light on and a radio blaring away in the background. A hand appeared around the door, but I thought it was my missus going to tell me that she was going up to bed, but when I spoke to her, the door was slammed shut. By the time I got to the door with my nunchakas, the bar steward was half over the fence.

The coppers said that they'd send someone around, but I bet they'll come when someone reports the foul smell of a rotting corpse. 😉

I've subscribed to your channel, bro, and look forward to watching some of your other videos. Keep well, mate, and take care out there. 👍

  4. its a shame to see the town look like this. I use to work in Wednesbury 30 years ago and it was thriving especially the market. Had some good times there and it was a good drink too. Most of the people were friendly too. Unfortunately it seems to have gone the way of most towns around the Black Country and England too. Where did it all go wrong !

  5. Used to work for Bridget in O'connells and not been town in 7 years ish, what a dump lol all those barber shops 😂 Eat Well Cafe is owned by Bridget, well was when I worked for her, might pop there one day
Good vid, will look at Weston super mare tmoz as going on 24th, hope dont put me off lol

  6. I left the museum/art gallery once after an event, it was quite late at night. I stood in the car park waiting for an uber. When it arrived the driver asked me if i'd just been released from the police station 🤣

  7. You mentioned the old pig and trumpet now the golden Cross. It was the golden Cross before then someone changed its name but I always called it the golden Cross was glad when it got changed back to golden Cross.
I sometimes went in the Cross at lunchtime on a Friday with a works colleague that was early 70's
