Hello,
Just got this new sram rival hydraulic brake lever and noticed some dot fluid under the hood. Took it off to clean and discovered that the system leaks when I pull the brake lever, even with the pad-blocker-thing in place.
First experience with hydraulic brakes.
Is this a worry ? Mistake from factory?
If it's relevant, this is the left hand lever with the dropper post option.

If there new id definitely send them back
Yup, manufacturing defect.
Provided you bought it from an authorized dealer, SRAM has excellent warranty service. Or just return it.
