  1. It’s great compilations like this that make me so frustrated by people on social media that would have you believe he’s a subpar 10 that can’t pass or do anything right, when he’s comfortably one of the most talented players in the modern era.

  2. A few slick offloads and a whole lot of obvious long passes does not make Owen Farrell a special player.

    England fans just want to believe that he's special because he's English. It doesn't work that way. He's an above average flyhalf that doesn't know how to tackle legally or how to behave like a gentleman on the pitch. He will never have the respect of the wider rugby community.

  3. The fact he doesn't get intercepted much despite passing so extremely flat is a testament to just how good those passes really are

  4. I think that Farrell has in common with George Ford the capacity to know how much they need to keep the ball and when to pass it, to create space. And it’s a pleasure to be able to see their talent in action
