about 8 or 9 yrs ago, some italian coach had these 2 and a few other younger girls skiing all gs ..all the time. and they got really fast! I think they ignored slalom. Now this is the results! nice job!

I didn't see a recent video with Lara Gut near the lead. She looked pretty good here; but the recent weather problems in Italy have to have been taking a toll on Lara Gut's racing times. She must have friends in Italy who are having severe problems. Behrami's place in Venice may have been getting hit hard too by the flooding?? Lara Gut's home is up in the mountains; but who is to say it is even safe there?? She and others in Italy have my best wishes. However, they should realize that Global Warming is likely to worsen over the next ten years or so. It will likely take at least that long before people/countries learn to keep from heating up the planet. Then of course, the Chinese are perhaps the biggest polluters on the planet. Who is going to stop them from heating up the planet?? Does anyone think they are even entertaining the thought of bringing their industries to a much sloer pace in order to get "cleaner"?? Good Luck Lara! It seems to me that depending on the Chinese to clean up their act is a losing proposition. Of course, Paris is one of the most polluted cities too. A lot of people have a lot of work to do.
