Had some old grease that was gunking up the bearings inside the cassette and wouldn't engage the wheel when pedaling. Just had to take it apart and apply some WD-40 to unstick it, then re-lubed and it works just fine now!
First trek bike and I actually can't find much about it. Does anyone know much about this bike?
Trek Mountain Track XC 830. Looks to be maybe from the 90's?
Either way I adore riding it and have ridden it all over Acadia NP's carraige roads. Taking it to Moab, Utah this year!
