A few further adjustments on the Giant getting it ready for the season, the saddle that came with it wasn’t feeling right and was rubbing my inner leg ! So I swapped it out with my Cannondale one, which has done many miles and given me no issues.

  1. Some nice tweaks , I'm doing glorious gravel Sherwood pines in March on my mtb I'm thinking about ergo grips for a different hand position what would you recommend

  2. Giant saddle for giant backside I would say Dave, it looks too wide. The best thing I did was get a TRK saddle, really ended any saddle troubles for me:) Bicycles are great for short commutes, like you say, no need to defrost unlike a car:)

  3. On my fast road bike I rode it twice and hated it and wanted to sell it ! But I swopped over the handle bar stem so it was higher and got rid of the grips and opted for some soft round ones and adjusted the levers a couple of times and lowered the seat about 10mm and moved it forward about 5mm and now I love it and I use it as my winter bike and regularly do 40 miles around Cheshire with no pains and it’s really fast
