Jamis Quest, 90s. Hoping to learn more about group, carbon fork, and wheelset. Any advice appreciated. I like it a lot. My current ride is a flat bar straggler with beefy tires and heavy. Doing more mountain tarmac road riding and want a steel light bike to go fast on. Plan to replace stem with longer one. Otherwise fit is spot on

Looks like a nice frame for the price . The components are outdated though .
Not a bad bike to get into road cycling but I’m sure in a year or less you’ll want a lighter more modern bike .

$300 is retail. but I like it! and buying from a LBS should mean it has been recently serviced 👍
I am a big fan of steel. and that is a good-looking ride. so def keep this one on your radar. it would make a fantastic commuter!
that said, FB marketplace offers some real bargains. especially in January. when nobody is riding and everyone has bills due.
