I have a soft spot for old Kona steel as my first MTB was a Cinder Cone. Kona has also worked with some great frame builders over the years.
Which reminds me: last summer I saw an older guy riding a pristine early 90s titanium Hei Hei on the bike paths near my house. I got to talking to him, he had no idea it was such a cool bike… I should have offered to buy it from him as it was my size. I often see some very cool vintage MTBs and road bikes being ridden casually around here…
