Hi everyone, I recently acquired this vintage bike, which is branded as a **Bianchi**, and I’m trying to confirm its authenticity, production year, and model. I’ve done some research but could really use the expertise of this community to learn more about it.
Does the serial number provide any clues about the production year or authenticity? What would you estimate its current value to be?
* **Serial Number**: 8013270B.
* **Head Badge**: Features the iconic Bianchi eagle crest.
* **Frame Color**: Gold (not the typical Celeste green).
* **Components**:
* **Crankset**: Sugino.
* **Front Derailleur**: i think Suntour.
* **Stem**: Engraved with “Mod Competizione Made in Italy and something “3 ttt” .
* Brakes are “edco”.

The lugs look like Bianchi lugs. There’s no “B” on the fork crown, or on the down-tube / head tube lug, or on the seat stay where it joins the seat tube. So it could be a cheaper model of Bianchi.
Internet says it’s difficult to use serial numbers to ID Bianchis.
There’s no tubeset sticker?

I’m not intimately familiar with Bianchi, their models, and their serial numbers. But I don’t see any reason to doubt that it’s a real Bianchi.
Also, the lugs are very nice, and to me indicate a higher-end bicycle.
