The transition to green energy might seem to be job of large corporations, but there are many involved who are working in more modest, yet inspirational ways. Here is a documentary made with artist Polly Meyrick, who travels around Devon meeting the unsung heroes of the transition – the community energy manger, the farmer using solar power, the heat pump installer, the electric water taxi boatmaster, and more. Commissioned by Regen, a non-profit organisation that aims to decarbonise the UK’s energy system, the film recently had its official premiere at the Studio 74 cinema in Exeter Phoenix.
