Hi everyone, I have a Trek SL 2200 bike that I use for commuting and road biking in the summer. It has a 2×9 RD-6500 ultegra groupset.
My main problem with my current setup is that I have a 11-25 cassette and the higher gear in my opinion is too hard for commuting and steep hills :/. My right shifter is also sometime skipping especially when its cold, when i shift down.
So I wonder, after seeing some RD-7000 for 200 CHF on aliexpress should l upgrade rear and front derailleurs, cassette and shifters? Or, should I just get a larger cassette ? I have trouble to know if that 9 sp. derailleurs can handle 30 tooth. Do you have any insight?
And also side question, at how much would you value this bike in this state ? I put new chain, cable, bar tape and gp5000 tyres.
