Sanded/partiallt re-painted, new seat, shifters, cables, pedals, grips, bars, tires, OG crank but turned into a single, and some new decals on the way. Killer!

Pretty sweet. I personally would have kept the rack for commuting/emergency item purposes.
I used to work for university police in early 2000’s when I was a student and the cops rode these. I used to really like these bikes.
There was really fat cop who used to just walk around with the bike when he was in rotation for bike patrol….hahaha we found it hilarious.
Hed just leave the station ….walk around for sometime and come back with some silly reason and sit around for sometime.
He got nothing done on those days and they would never take him out of rotation either
