My dad bough this 1979-80 Raleigh Super Record new. It’s definitely seen better days. I’m holding on to all the original parts but I think I’m going full mod on this one.

Tektro long reach calipers
Bunch of other odds and ends on order.

If you’re deciding on bigger tires, make sure you have the clearance for them before you start, especially in the chainstays.
I did a restomod with an old 73 Gran Sport, with more clearance and longer wheelbase than yours, and I cant get any bigger than 700×40,
You don’t need long-reach calipers, looks like you have 40-50mm as it is, so with the 700c you only need 50-60mm.
Did my first (2×5) vintage 10 speed rebuild this winter instead of a single speed or a 1x set up. I’m enjoying it
