  1. I don’t think so. I passed on a bike as I thought disposable power meters were a terrible waste .

    Aren’t you supposed to send in the powermeter with the chainring attached and they change out the chainring for you?
    In that case it will probably still cost more than just replacing the chainring your self (on a crank where this is possible) but still better than having to buy a completly new PM.

  3. Nope, $812 for a new one. I would suggest just running the non-drive bb meter when the chainring dies
