Enjoyed the talking point format today. Brought up some interesting topics.
Wages are offered on the basis of how much you will earn after tax etc. Normal folk earning less than 100k a year don't have agents, lawyers etc.
Folk earning minimum wage can't afford to live.
Super high earners would pay even more tax if they didn't pay lawyers.

Thinks he’s bigger than the club. Overrated. Overpaid. However, he is over-scrutinised but hasn’t helped himself.

I don't look at the taxes I pay. I know it's how it is. I work, I earn money, I pay taxes. And no matter how much I earn, I'll never pay more taxes than what I earn. So in the end I win. I don't see the problem.
Postecoglou should have had an ultimatum a long time ago. "Find some balance or you're out". NOTHING has changed since his first game. Nothing. Same problems. If he's not able to fix his issues, he has nothing to do there.
Nobody is asking him to change everything. But there's a balance. His system is way too extreme. Nobody askes him to park the bus and play full counter attack. Nobody. That's what people don't understand. People assume that if you want some tweaking, you want the opposite. Exactly like with Amorim. People were asking some tweaking, and the answer was "they took him for that, it would be dumb to play the opposite". That's not what people want.
Prime Zaha vs prime Rashford? Nobody ever asked this question because it makes no sense. Zaha couldn't play for MU, let alone score 30 and assist 11 in a season. Rashford smashes Zaha when both at their prime. Rashford scored way more and assisted way more in less games. It's not even a debate.
Zaha has to be one of the most overrated players in PL history. I've always believed that and this talk confirms it. Every year he was supposed to join a top team, but in the end nobody wanted him and he just stayed in mid-table at Crystal Palace. Yeah, such a star.
That Nottingham talk was just a 10-year-old Leicester talk in the end… I guess they are not glamorous enough to be talked about
ben you know football more than us …but when city signed haaland as you said 375k a week at 5 years the cost of his transfer was 50m i want to know how his agent got 40m when agent fees are capped at like 10% i mean that dont add up to me I said it years 😂
The Haaland contract sounds mad, and it is. But he's not gonna stay for more than 3 more seasons and by then City will have and insane leverage with Haaland having 5 years left, they are gonna get their money back.
That was the player I was when I played at a young age 6-35. Like a Dog running round chasing everything because I wasn’t technically minded but massive work rate. But my mate (he used to work for Fulham so you probably know him or have seen him, he’s infamous) he was about 50plus moved a max of 5 yards and would play whilst smoking but could control the whole game. It just depends on the person.
Any transfer fee for Rashford will help Man U with FFP too as he’s an academy product too.

As a forest fan I can fully say that it is more of a generational thing when it comes to the Leicester or Derby rivalry, but recently the Leicester side of the rivalry has become more and more meaningful because we see them much more. It's also great to SLAP them up and it always feel good. Hate Derby and Leicester as much as each other, would love to see them playing against each other next season just so they can sing about us for 90 minutes.
