Picked up this crankset for 5 bucks, couldn’t pass it up. Was thinking without thinking at first glance, without much consideration about using it on an old MTB rebuild being a 1×7
After looking it up I found out it’s a 12sp chainring. I’m wondering if I could use a different chainring that would be compatible with the 7sp?
I’m newer with wrenching on geared bikes and just trying to learn.
