Looking for a lightweight but durable bike to ride around on the local bike path and from my house to the grocery store for some exercise. I have a Specialized mountain bike but it’s so heavy it’s a little difficult to cruise around on. (I also found out I don’t enjoy mountain biking lol) Would this also be compatible to have a rear rack put on? With a milk crate or something similar for a backpack?

It should be able to fit a rear rack. I have the Jamis Coda and it’s a great bike for riding to work, checking out trails, running to the grocery store. $400 is a good price.
