  1. Could you do a video about what to look out for when buying a titanium (partic Litespeed) bike or frameset second hand. I am seeing quite a few on my local (Netherlands) online marketplace.

Suspect there are people trading in perfectly good road bikes so they can upgrade to disk brakes (which you really don't need in mostly 2-dimensional NL).

  2. I had never heard of Brunei until I discovered your channel.
I think that it is a nearly perfect place to live, except for those snakes.
    Thanks for your videos.

  3. Fascinating, Reginald. I went out with a very bright Singaporean I met in uni & could have gone down a similar route. Credit for your hardiness, I'm older & would just have had the day off with a throat like that.

  4. REG!!!! Hello my friend, missed your videos!
    Get well soon!!!
Love the video, love the backstory, I would watch you talk about just about anything! Love the way you think about things, so yes – more please!!!

  5. I will send some money, because Giovanni showed me how to put on a Continental GP5000 and I was trying for a weekend and almost became desperate (I did it for the first time), and bam super easy and done in 15-20 min.

  6. 1. You were not forced to anything, your wife (therefore you too) knew from the very beginning of signing this contract with the Brunei government that she (therefore you) had to return to Brunei after the completion of her education (and it would only be normal to be so, since they were paying for any single expense item during all those years…).
    2. Bananas with seeds are actually the original bananas, true bananas, the other bananas that we know today were just commercially developed to sell the goods.

  7. I use a triple these days ( hate 1x the gaps are too big and I like a lot of gears ) lowest gear is 30×32 🤣 up hills sat down 👍I’m a Scot,Irish,Italian and Dutch mixture and grow up in a slightly anti English atmosphere which lingers with me even today. I hope you’re not one of the men in black a few times driving I haven’t seen a rider in dull dull conditions. I think that’s why road workers wear hi viz jackets. I think the trans Siberian is by far the toughest. thanks for the video

  8. Most of my mates in the 80s cleared off and only 1 came back but only for 2 years, my eldest in Pennsylvania and youngest in Holland which is my favourite place and with the amount of 💩 going off atm your biggest mistake would be returning not leaving.

  9. So a personal question, and feel free to tell me to slag off. Given your Italian/Scot/Welsh/Eastern European roots I assume you were not raised a Muslim. Did you convert to get married or for spiritual reasons? I am an agnostic-Christian-Taoist so what you are makes no never-mind to me, just curious about that side of you. Great episode, nice to get a better understanding of who you really are!

  10. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing a bit of your background. Would it be possible to do another video around tyres. I realise you have touched on the subject but you have done a lot of riding and presumably have a lot of experience with different tyres. I ride 700 x 28. Have been using schwalbe up to now for their puncture resistance. I also find d them easier to fit with a wire bead not kevlar. I am riding on rough English roads in all weather's. Do 60 miles at 18 mph. Weigh 65kg. Rims are clincher 18mm inner width. Do not want to go tubeless. Tyres are a really expensive purchase so your opinion and reasoning would be appreciated. Nottingham has changed an awful lot in the last 10 years.
