I'm late to the party, but I just want to thank you for being the first person to bring Albania as an option for expats. I have been looking into moving for almost 3 yrs- I researched my first choice Spain to Portugal to Panama.Sadly, all those countries have been changing their prerequisites so much it was hard to keep up. Panama was my final choice b/c they have a great Pensioner's Plan but it was a lot of red tape & money. Until I saw you with the couple (I can't remember their names, but I watch some of their videos) I had no idea that some countries allow US citizens to stay in their country visa-free. In late December, I bought my ticket & should be in Tirana on Jan. 29th and then going to Vlore (reminds me most of my city St Petersburg, FL) to "test the waters." I hope I like the city as much as I love the videos about it. Thank you so much! PS- I keep my comments off on YT, but I hope I get to meet you & April one day in Albania. 👍
Hi Patrick, my husband and I are coming to Albania from July 3rd to 16th. We are planning to retire outside of Canada and Albania is high on our short list.
