I’ve heard stories about people using torch to cut out a bottom bracket…. but I dunno
I had something similar happen to a cheapo frame recently, and I just called it trash.
I had a guy pull the threads out of a [already well seized] ST arm a couple weeks ago. I ended up having to cut the spider out to get access to the spindle, then cut the spindle clean off and turned out the BB.
This situation, however, won’t end there – what the fuck happened on the non-driveside? Are you using the right tool?
You might be able to hammer a BBT-22 or whatever driver you’re using into it and try to get enough purchase, but it is not going to be easy. Heat will be your friend there.
You can probably use an automotive gear puller on the DS crank, you’ll need to use a solid spacer so that it bears against the end of the BB spindle instead of the crank.
Once you have that off you should be able to remove the BB from the DS and hack saw a groove in the NDS retaining ring to remove it in pieces.
I’ve pulled BBs from perhaps 200 abandoned bikes in the last few years, and that takes the cake. I agree that an automotive gear puller would work on the DS. I can’t think of anything for that NDS bearing retainer. Is it plastic? You might try drilling ~1/8 holes in it a few places to see if you could lever the fragments out.
Aim for a crank puller
It is a hollow screw which is screwed onto the crank and then we screw the middle screw to move the crankset back
