I have taped and retaped my kids rim on his BMX race bike. I have tried different brands of tubes but I keep getting a puncture in the same nipple hole. At this point I have a layer of gorilla tape under the new rim tape and it keeps popping. Nipple is forrest tightness spoke is not loose. Tempted to silicone the opening at this point. Rims are a deep carbon type. Any fix recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Definitely rim side and not tyre side? Ran your fingers through the inside of the tire?
I’ve spelt tire two different ways there and I ain’t changing it
What tire pressure are you running in it? It seems like it could be a pinch flat. If you are running too low of a pressure, any decent bump can cause a pinch flat.
Also, just to cover all bases, you are installing the tire and tube correctly, right? You put half the tire on, install the tube while it has a little bit of air and some talc on it, then put the other half of the tire on. If you’re not following that, do those steps and see if it happens again.
