In August 2024, I cycled from my home in Austria, close to the Swiss border, to Hamburg, from where I flew to Seoul to cycle through South Korea before taking the ferry to Japan to fulfill my dream of a huge bikepacking trip.
In the meantime, I’ve cycled 3,600 kilometers across Japan, and am currently in Taiwan training for a marathon I’ll run in Japan in March before continuing my bikepacking trip by following the cherry blossoms north.
