Join us for our first few weeks onboard as we sail to Hurst Castle and Cowes as well as cycle the scenic path from Lymington to Keyhaven. We tackle some boat jobs, and face an unexpected (and potentially expensive) problem. Plus, a special moment—my 84-year-old dad joined us after 39 years of sailing together! It’s a journey full of exploration, memories, and plenty of surprises.

Never trust previous owner's electrical work. We threw a whole pile of suspect wiring out and replaced it. Also, due to the boat's age, some connections are fatigued and just need replacing under a maintenance schedule.
A brilliant 2nd episode, well done. I love the story telling. Osprey is such a beautiful yacht, very envious.
Fizz is adorable, would be very happy to doggie sit if we're in the area 🐾🥰
Can't wait for your next chapter 🥰🐾😅
She’s an old girl with superb bones & will need a little TLC sometimes.
Hi ya, very interesting to watch you getting to know your new beautiful boat. We bought an Oyster 56#27 2 years ago and are still getting to grips with her complex systems. We are currently wintering in Tunisia and will be in the med this summer, so will look out for you. We are on Gigi of London and as you say the 56’s have great bones. Happy sailing from Steve & Janine ⛵️
