That’s a square taper crank, you have to remove the cap bolts with an Allen wrench and then take the crank arms off using a crank puller tool.

Are you still in Turkey en route to Japan? Instead of spamming Reddit with multiple single posts (6 in the last 24hrs about your transmission) and getting well intentioned but unactionable DIY advice (because you are in mid tour with no tools or knowledge) why not go to a bike shop and get them to replace chain, rings & cassette?
