I’m posting a picture of my road bike bc it’s all I have at the moment. I’ve been trying to decide if I should convert my Quick 5 for gravel, or just get a second bike specifically for that. Once I figure it out I’ll share. You can never have enough bikes, right?!

I’d vote a second bike for gravel or sell that one and just get a gravel bike that isn’t too crazy. Stick with 40mm tires and a rigid fork and it will work well enough as a road bike!
I feel like a gravel bike works much better as a road bike than the other way around.
What do you mean exactly when you say convert it to a gravel bike? A full on drop bar/ components conversion is very expensive and not worth it. Wider tires could be an option depending oh how much clearance you have.
Just finished watching a GCN video on having a second set of wheels. Either gravel wheels for your road bike, or road wheels for your gravel bike. Seems worth it to me.
I’d rather just get a new gravel bike and sell the old, I try to minimize the number of things I have to take care of in my life. Then get a road tire wheelset and a gravel tire wheelset
Just had this conversation with a buddy on a chairlift. He said he tried it and it was a waste of time & money. He ended up buying a gravel bike.
For the gravel riding I do, disc brakes are a must have. I can’t imaging going down some of the roads we ride without disc brakes. While we are riding on very rural dirt roads, we frequently have to deal with surprise obstacles.
