I began the ride in the Chehalis River Valley with a dense fog and the temperature sitting at 37 degrees (3 degrees Celsius). By the the time had reached the Willapa River Valley it was about 40 degrees and the sun was out. By the time I finished the 61 mile loop and I was back in the Chehalis River Valley it was 37 degrees and foggy!

I was down there at the Willapa Hills Trailhead today photographing the Trumpeter swans midday. It was amazing. There were a lot of them. My first time seeing them. I was delighted that I went.
I am glad to see that you covered a lot of miles on your bike in this cold weather.
