Was in an oddly constructed intersection yesterday when a car passed me then braked and made a hard right into a driveway. I cut right and hit a curb head on and went over the handlebars carrying the bike with me. My banana suffered as well as my helmet. I have a few butt and leg bruises and the bike is in the shop for a rim repair and new shifter covers.
Please wear a helmet! I’m amazed at how many bike riders and scooters I see wo.
