I had this fork blow out on me and I had to ride about 15 mi to get back home on it bottomed out.

The fork is an Sr suntour raidon 650+ 120mm

I tried to pull it apart, I unscrewed everything I possibly could but I cannot take out this cylinder that is attached to the lockout. I don't know if I just need to pull harder on it or if there's a special tool that's needed

Is there a service that can guarantee a fork repair? Because I can probably get a new one for $150 or a used one for half of that. Would it be worth it trying to send it to repair? Would I be able to repair it myself? Seems like there's a lot of special tools needed

Did you remove the foot nuts first? Usually you do that, then slide off the lower legs, then remove the damper from the top if you wanted. Suntour has a sealed damper anyway.
