What would these two thread patterns be good for? Just picked up the studded gnarwhals on the left because it was icy. Now it’s more snowy. The single track by me is up and down and up and down a bunch with very steep ups and downs. On the right are the tires that came with the bike. They were surprisingly light and very supple compared to the gnarwhals. What conditions should I be swapping them out? Does the tire on the right have enough bite for groomed single track that is very hilly?
Who’s swapping tires a lot based on the conditions? The gnarwhals were a pain in the butt to seat properly so I don’t know if it’s worth swapping between them.
