Found this seller on FB marketplace selling this almost new 2020 Giant Talon 1 for $440 and even lower after some negotiating. As I started looking closer I felt it’s a counterfeit bike. Colorway doesn’t match to anything Giant makes, doesn’t have internal routing of cables, tires are Kenda and not Maxxis. Badging seems to be off. Is this fake? What do you guys think?

Doesn’t look too off to me. I think it’s the 2012 model so just very old.
Tires can be changed, but from what I can see, the 2020 Talon 1 came with internal cables and a 1x drivetrain. That doesn’t look like a 1x but I can’t see the drive side.

I’d pay a max of 150 for a 13 year old hard tail low spec bike. That is only if it’s been well taken care of because replacing chainrings, cassettes, BBs fork services etc can add up very quickly and suddenly you could have bought a brand new bike.
