Hey Everyone,
This is my bike from the 6th grade. I purchased it myself after a few months of babysitting and I rode this thing all through high school. I’m now 28 years old, and I’ve been holding on to it because of it has sentimental value.
I’ve looked it over, aside from the rims, tires, and inner tubes needing replacing, it just need some elbow grease to clean it up. Maybe also a new set of pegs.
When I first bought it, I got it from Toys-R-Us for $200. These days, I think a set of rims would cost me just about that much..
Would it be crazy or just plain stupid to try to restore it? I’m sure I’m too big to ride it considering it has 20inch wheels and I’m 6’1 200lbs.. Maybe it would be nice to clean up and display on my garage wall?
What are your thoughts?

I wouldn’t spend too much. It doesn’t have any real value so putting money into it won’t be financially responsible. If it were me I would just make sure everything works mechanically and clean it and hang it up. If you’re not mechanically inclined then just hang it up.
