I bet this has been flogged like a dead horse but I can't quite find the answers/insights to help me decide which one I want so here we go again!
I am looking at the two bikes, mainly for the 2x gearing and am assuming the the difference In wheels will help a lot too.
I have ridden a friends 2021 0 before now and it was beautiful to ride, which I want for myself.
I have ridden mostly a road bike and hardtail mtb and really want the best of both worlds, distance and comfort, which has narrowed it down to what I think is a gravel bike.
And then settled on the revolt.
So my questions;
is the 0 worth the additional funds over the 2?
Will It be ride quality be noticeably less riding the 2? Or is it a guaranteed better ride with the 0, I guess the better quality gearing and wheel weight could pay off or is is the lesser quality kit still a great value? There's a 1300aud price difference in it.
As in will I truly need to upgrade the wheels later down the track or are they lifers?
I try and buy once cry once, so the big decision of purchasing this bike and it being the more expensive bike I've purchased comes into it, and just want feedback if anyone has been through the same thought process.
2 is $3330
0 is $4600
I always prefer buying the better quality if I can, but It's quite the jump in price.
Any other input would of be great value to me.
Thanks!

If you get the 2 and ride a lot, you will want to make these exact same upgrades (GRX 600 > 800, alloy wheels > carbon wheels).
You’ll likely pay more than $1300 for carbon wheels and a groupset upgrade down the line so if you think you’ll ride this a lot and get your moneys worth I’d go with the 0.
Carbon wheels are one of the best upgrades you can do to a bike in my opinion and 820 does feel noticeably better than 610 in terms of the crispness of the shifting and overall feel.
All this being said GRX 610 is a solid group and the alloy wheels are totally fine so you can’t go wrong if you buy the ADV 2 either.
