They are asking 500 NZD which is around 280 USD. I ride my 15 year old MTB to work each day. Around 20 miles return. But it’s so heavy and slow. Looking at a road bike. All the specs check out and price seems good, but I’m worried about the “3 or so hairline cracks” . They look like nothing, but maybe they are serious?? There are talk on the forums of ppl who have had hairline cracks for years and others who say to never ride with any sigh of a crack. I know nothing about road bikes. Your help would be appreciated.
