I primarily commute to work on this bike, but I hope to take it on longer adventures at some point in the future! Since I moved further from work with more hills in the way, my usual single speed commuter became impractical (because this bike is totally practical. Swapped out the Suntour XCM fork for this rigid Surly Krampus fork, added the Wren Perseverance bar for an extra hand position and a little more sweep and finally swapped from the stock 30t round chainring to a 36t oval chainring from Amazon.

Forgot to mention the cheap Gorix short nosed saddle as well as the Schwalbe hurricane tires. The tires are the only thing I’m not super happy with. Smoother and quieter than the stock tires for sure, but still quite heavy and they don’t roll nearly as well as I’d like, even considering their size. That’s what I get for grabbing the first cheap tires that looked good.
I like the headlight mount — I’ve never seen that particular setup before but it looks like it would be ideal.
