Stiff link. Can happen for many reasons. Is your bike upside?
That link is to tight break it and reseat it
Stuff link is that where you put it together? That’s why most chain tools have that little shelf to free up stuff links
I had this same issue. I was able to remedy it with some generous amounts of chain lube. I then cycled it over and over until the lube made its way into the gaps. But if it’s just this one link you could take a flat head screwdriver and flex the tight link just a little until it moves freely. Just be careful doing that!
u can bend the chain side to side a little and it’ll flex the link loose
Play with it. Wiggle and manipulate it loads until it loosens up. Sometimes it just needs you to work it back and forth a lot.
As other answers stiff link, grab either side with both hands from the top and flex the chain forwards and backwards to free up the plates
Just ride it. It’ll come loose quickly enough
Don’t lie, did you take Bruce Banners bike?
Pin too tight? Did you link it together there?
