  1. It is usually a manufacturing defect that causes the tire’s internal cords to fail prematurely. I would contact Pirelli to see if you can get it replaced under warranty.

  2. Tire gophers. Damn varmints will destroy your bike shed if you don’t get rid of em. Use extra tubeless sealant when you change your flats.

  3. Defect or striking object/bruising when tire pressure is too low. Not at all unlike car tires.

  4. Manufacturing defect after calendering process. Carcass and rubber haven’t bound correctly and you get this bubble.
