Y'all.
I got this bicycle bag. They don't make it anymore. I've been using it for 10+ years. It had this adapter that clips into the bag that was on my old bike. The adapter is gone and I can no longer buy the adapter.
I bought a new bike bag. It is not special to me. But the old bike bag has no real use. Except… It fits inside of my new bike bag. I can keep it but I lose some space.
Tell me it is dumb to do this. Tell me to throw the old bike bag away. It has been sewn many times. Yes it is … It is useless… iT COULD BE GREAT AGAIN!
Do I bury it? Hold a ceremony? Wtf , I loved this bag. Should I keep it and try to rebuild some sort of clipping system to attach to the bike?

Here is what you are going to do. Take the old bag and take a picture of it, maybe with a cute cat or something. Put the picture in a scrap book and throw away the old bag. You have a new bag now! Yeah! I am sorry for your loss.
You put it on a shelf in the shed because you just know you’ll find a use for it.
Every time you clean out the shed you’ll have this conversation with yourself again.
This will repeat until the end of the world, or until a loved one eventually gets sick of watching you torture yourself, and quietly throws away the bag.
