The derailleur ist a first generation Chorus, not a C-Record. Which is actually an advantage! It shifts much better. This is the first Campy derailleur with a dropped slant parallelogram. They were able to make it after the SunTour patent ran out.
Due to the slant, it tracks the cogs much better over the range of the cassette (smaller chain gap). This is especially noticable when you use wide range cassettes. You could mount a 32 big cog on this bad boy!
The fun party trick is that you can actually adjust the slant angle by loosening two hex bolts on the front and back of the parallelogram, then you can rotate the entire parallelogram and retighten. It has an „A“ and „B“ setting engraved on the knuckles. Hard to see how big your cassette is, but if the big cog is anything bigger than 26, I‘d use the „B“ setting.
