Maybe I can get some inspo here…I picked this Gunnar Rockhound (26") up; a 17.5 in.
I'm considering building it up as more of a street crusier/lighter trail bike…maybe throw a front rack up there!
Would 650b work? Any fork reccomendations for it if I were to go rigid? 1 1/8th.
Ill also trade my LX to Dyad 650b set for a 26 in set for you swappers!

You’d have to downsize the tire to go 650b and have a decent amount of adjustment on the brake, which would work as a cruiser. I say go for it. I had a frame that was almost identical to that, custom with a long tt though, kind of regret getting rid of it.
Second, personal preference, but I think it’s better to have the bag tighter to the down tube and gapped by the seat tube. Of course a new custom bag is best!
