Shown, Victory 4×4 hidden hitch bumper, Kuat HiLo Pro receiver extension, with a Saris MTR-1+2 (bike addon). Couldn’t find any information on comparability for this, but spec wise it checks out. Think it’s a great way to carry a few bikes, or destroy a good investment on two wheel down the road?

What is tongue weight and leverage anyway?
Should be fine. The hitch can take several hundred pounds at least; should be fine for ~100 lbs a couple feet out.
I don’t really care for hidden hitches, but doubt this would be an issue even with heavier ebikes
Just do the math with bike weight and figure the weight with leverage since further out. Compare to load ratings on hitch.
Seems fine, I’ve been pulled over for my plate being obstructed by bikes before. According to the cop every bike rack manufacturer has plate mounts and I need to reach out to them and order one. I think they were just curious about me having a couple bike share bikes on the trunk and making up excuses.
So just don’t put anything to interesting on there or you may get pulled over
I’ve often wondered about this. I have a Thule T2 and even when it’s up, you cannot see my plate at all. But then again the amount of expired plates I see roll around the city makes me not worry about it at all.
Upside to testing the install so far, things wiggle a good bit but hold nice and tight (the Kuat is anti wobble, as is the Saris) so folks are staying off my fender while driving it around. I’ll keep testing it before I put some new bikes on it
Cops are not going to pull over some rich mt biker with a 50k truck and 10k of bikes on the back … just accept your privilege and move on
Also that’s the same hitch that f250 s pull 18000 pound trailers around with .. don’t worry about your bikes breaking it

Seems like a good enough idea to me as long as you don’t leave the bike carrier on when you aren’t actually carrying bikes.
You may run into issues with the license plate being obscured, though.
