Looking to buy a hardtail, torn between a few options.
2020 scott scale 965 for 800AUD. Has been upgraded to fox 32 fork, and has shimano groupset. Its been meticulously looked after apprently.
My other option is a “barely used” 2023 cube attention for 800AUD with rockshox fork and by the looks of it also a shimano groupset.
On top of these i have been considering a marin bobcat trail 3, brand new on sale for 750AUD with 2 years warranty. Has a suntour fork, microshift advent 9 derailleur and shifter, and tektro m280 brakes. Link here:

Im leaning towards the scott scale but im not too sure about how far tech has come and if a brand new bike would be worth it. I would imagine the scott and cube are miles ahead of the marin but i dont know too much about mountain bikes so any advice is appreciated.
