I find hrv tracking useful to see when I am ready to train after having a nasty flu.
Definitely the sleep insights, such an interesting feature!
Great information on all the functions of the watch. I am looking into getting a watch for running but also to get information about overall health.
If I could afford a fitness tracker watch such as the Garmin Venu 3 or 3S, I would definitely use it to not only track pace and pulse to improve my runs, but also encouragement during my other, calisthenics-based activities! I had not yet really delved into dreaming at the Garmin line of fit watches yet!
Recently got a second-hand old model Forerunner which doesnt have any sleep tracking features so thats definitely what I'd be using it for!
Sleep score, I am also obsessed with sleep
Monitoring my HRV and running by heartrate instead of pace made the biggest change in my running performance. Couldn't live without those two features!
Just stumbled across your channel while doing some research into what my first sports watch should be and I'm loving the content!
Currently trying to determine which Garmin to purchase. Enjoyed your review!
Been tempted to get a Garmin and this video is pushing me towards making the jump
Venu 3 looks like a good watch for both fitness and mental health!
I’d definitely use the sleep tracking
Have a Forerunner and still learning all the different stats to look at!!!
I'm more of a cyclist than a runner, but the content on this channel is so good and well presented, that it makes me want to run more. Keep up the great work 😊
Since getting my watch I have been much better at making and sticking to fitness goals. Another nice feature is the sleep tracker. Although with 3 young children I won't be bragging about my sleep scores 😂. Useful for looking back to remember how many times you got up with the baby the night before.
Great video! I would love to win a garmin venu 3, since my sleep has been all over the place recently 😅. The sleep coach and detailed tracking options is exactly what I could use right now 🤞🏻🤩!
Just getting into this more technical world with watches, and its very interesting with all the data, fe about sleep and can be really helpful for getting a read on your body.
I would love to track my HRV
Love this! I’d be interested in sleep tracker and the battery scores. I have toddlers and so sleep isn’t always the best so I’d be interested to see if how I feel matches how my sleep or training was hitting my body for either strain or recovery
Do the forerunner watches not show these lifestyle metrics as well then? Would love a Garmin watch one day =P
I love Sarah’s videos! Great content and motivating!
Aiming to run a sub-3 hour marathon next year in March, having the Venu 3 watch will definitely help me monitor my health and performance throughout this year of training.
i am currently using the apple watch ultra but TRC have convinced me garmin is the way to go! Just need to get one now…
It's awsome to see how smartwatches can monitor our health and show us in a way we can understand.
Definitely looking for another garmin watch!
Great video Sarah. Loved this review. I think this watch would really help with balancing workout load. I do whatever workout is on my plan without thinking about if my body is truly ready for it. Seen as though I don’t listen to myself maybe I’d listen to a watch 😂
thank you for the video. great content!
Just discovered this channel, it is so motivating and helpful !
😴
The sleep data sounds really interesting!
Great video. This has convinced me to get my first running watch 😄
My Forerunner 55 is on its last legs battery wise, it has been very much loved so I would love to win a Venu if I'm still on time! I would love track my HRV and cycle and use the sleep coach and all of the other cool features! Been wanting to buy a Garmin with more features for years but the price tag is too steep for me so I still got my old Forerunner 55! Love your videos Sarah 🙂
I had a few fangirl moments when i recognized the area in the background 🙂
Omg I would love the new garmin, definitely need the sleep coach.
If you want some more amazing data on why sleep is so important go have a look at Matthew Walkers ‘Why we sleep’ incredible read and very insightful
Err.. interesting vid for an advert, but… 4mths ≠ 90 days. Bit OCD, sorry.
I’m just starting off with running and training for my first 5k in May! Didn’t think that much about sleep until now.
Great video!
Sleep is the one metric I do really poorly
A helpful video to watch since im looking for a new running watch! 🙂
Having fibromyalgia and being prone to fatigue and ill health (currently trying to get over the after-effects of COVID), the Garmin Body Battery is very useful so I don't overdo it with exercise. If it falls below 40-50, I don't do anything too strenuous, and stick to lower intensity activities like walking, air walker, arm cycles, recumbent exercise bike, etc.
Loved the video, very informative. I wonder if we can really trust the sleep data though… The venu 3 is tempting, but the price of it… isn't. Maybe one day…
Excellent video!! Looking for a fitness watch, but the vivoactive 5 is looking a bit outdated (being April 2024).
The things I need to track and improve most is definitely my sleep routine and quality
I'd use interval tracking for my runs. I currently can't track splits 😅
