The destruction and devastation that’s happening in Ukraine are top of mind for some in the Niagara region today. This morning, a fundraising cycling event took place called ‘STEPPE UP for Ukraine’.
Riders from all over Ontario came out. They started at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church and made their way through the Niagara region on a self-guided tour.
Some of the volunteers are from Ukraine who just arrived in Canada a few weeks ago. They wanted to come out and not only show their support and thanks, but also have a voice for their families and friends back home.
The organizers say they will continue with events like this one not only to raise funds but also awareness.

Real People Helping Others Selflessly… Everyone can learn from such beautiful kindness like this…. if everyone did 1 good thing for someone else a day the world would be a way better place.. GOD BLESS UKRAINE.. they fight for what we all take for granted, appreciate the small things in life
