Hi, I'm looking yo get my first adult bike and have decided on a hybrid so I can travel to/from work and have some fun on some bike trails on weekends.
Budget is around $1200 and i think I've narrowed it down to these two after looking around in town this arvo.

Is there any others i should consider?

Being available now and cool colours can sway my decision lol.

Thanks!

  1. One is a women’s bike. Just making sure you know that.

I got the Scott Cross 50 lady for my kid. It was on sale ($450 USD). It is good at discounted price. But it does have some cons. 3×7 gearing. Tektro disc brakes; I read that Shimano is more reliable. And the bike is heavy, at 30 lbs.

Between these 2, I would go with Specialized. Especially it has 1×10 gearing.

Almost every manufacturer has Hybrid bike. Trek FX and Dual Sport lines. Cannondale Quick. Etc.
