Si Richardson just doesn’t like mudguards. But after the wettest 18 months in the UK on record, maybe it’s time for him to start using them! The question is though, where do you actually start with mudguards? And are they even worth it? ๐

Do you use mudguards? Why or why not? ๐ Let us know below!
Basically if people turned up for winter club run or training with no guards they were banned. nowadays with winter jacket costing ยฃ200 plus would you want to drag it through a muddy puddle each time u go out, ditto tights ditto shoes. Also the spray up over the bike front mech ,drink bottles , the list is endless
You just need another bike, one with mudguards! LOL
sks raceblade good but man give them bikes some sockets for quick installation. if you need to reinstall a raceblade this could take from 30 seconds to 15 minutes for adjusting
๐Simon, here in Mexico, we had this super hero that we callโฆemm how can I sayโฆ The Avoiding pregnancy Man, jajajajaja. That your suit made me remind that. ๐น ๐ฆธโโ๏ธ
Yes, goodbye
Next GCN test "are square wheels slower than normal round wheels"
i don't use mudguards, but i gear up appopriately for wet conditions. a lot of bikes may not fit a mudguard that gives the best protection from wind and rain, but ass savers are a nice thing to try if you're caught in the mud and don't want to get the mud stripe up your back. full protection mudguards add weight and can change how you ride. i think its a question you should think about when getting a bike, not after you have one.
I live in central Arizona USA. No mud guards, it never rains
No shit Sherlock, is the Pope catholic, itโs a no brainier guys.
Clip on mudguards can be annoying, you
Need full mudguards with mudguard
Eyes , the difference is amazing, basically
You need a winter bike , also as well
As mud if you ride country roads there
Is cow and animal muck your throwing
Up to everyone behind
I used to commute a lot on a bike. I bought full guards that I extended so that the rear went a few inches below the bottom bracket, and I screwed a flared bit on the front that was only a couple of inches off the ground. They definitely work and are worth using, however, once you get to a certain speed (about 35 to 40km/h) on very wet roads, the road spray hits the guards so hard that there's spray off the guards that gets you wet ๐

" No, I do not think I will enjoy them"

Best advice in the video โgo to your local bike shopโ โค
I run mudguards/fenders all winter. I live in Canada and not getting wet means you stay warm and dry
All my bikes have ass-savers because they look nicer than dorky mudguards and they work. And they're cheap and easy to use.
Dry weather with wet Roads is when mudguards are the most beneficial. If itโs raining you will get wet regardless, but once it stops you still get wet from the ground. The other issue is rain is wet, but clean. Wet ground though is mud and oil and sand and other nastiness.
Mudguards ok….. but what was hat spare pair of socks for, he brought?
We did a 100 mile gravel race on a course that had long stretches of flooded road, but no rain on the day. Running full fenders kept me clean and dry above the ankles, while the others came in fully black in the face and back. Not to mention the lack of abrasion on sensitive parts
Ass saver is key
