    World famous astrophysicist and author Neil deGrasse Tyson returns to Uncensored to discuss his recent criticism of Elon Musk’s Mars mission and more.

    Turning his intellect to the subject of Mars colonisation, Tyson sets the record straight on the challenges it would throw up, as well as his relationship with Space X founder Elon Musk. He also speaks on the controversial topic of trans women in women’s sports, giving a decidedly diplomatic response.

      Earth is by far the most wonderous planet in the solar system, maybe even the galaxy, who knows… The biodiversity, the complexity, the chances of this all existing is so unlikely and yet, here we are. We need to give everything we have to maintain all these wonders, instead of giving up and turning our attention to another planet that is nothing but rocks and sand (as a figure of speech)

      I think Musk, Bezos, Zuck, Jack Dorsey, NFL LLC, Caryle Group, Blackwater will drain the US Budget at the expense of adding 20 trillon to the US citizen's Debt. Neil, why are you still attempting to enlighten a group of imbiciles?

      But wasn't going to Mars because of geopolitical issues on earth rather silly caveman thinking? It makes some people feel good. But it leaves most of us struggling with things like climate change that are causing those geopolitical problems. Wouldn't we prefer that all that money be spent here, to resolve those problems? Musk is an autistic nerd with a head full of cool sci-fi projects (like sending his sports car into space). He should be allowed his hobbies, but US taxpayers shouldn't put a dime into them and should demand that he pay high taxes so we can use that money to solve problems here on earth.

      Elon fanboys, saying he is a genius. No, he is not he has a vision, and with his wealth, he pays people to try and make it happen. Geniuses are the people who actually make and build his rockets for Space X

      I love Elon Musk!! How you put up with such stupidity is very very very very very very very very very very very… He has patience like Mr.Trump. Sorta of a way to Speak around about away. In your windows and I don't mean go run to your window and look for it in there. I always say I'm not a hospital nor a doctor's office I don't have patience but I do to an extent.

      On the trans debate – Golf is a bad choice of example for Piers because Golf is a sport that could easily be unisex. Caitlin Jenner played back off the competition tees , however any pro-woman golfer would play off the white tees at an course in the world. Many good female club players would smoke the average male golfer. at the pro level, womens tees will be slightly less distance from the mens, but for most golfers – 99.9% of us – tee boxes being gendered is ridiculous. most beginners – anyone over a 20 handicap could and probably should play from the red tees. A better split on which tee box to use would be by handicap, with kids tees way up the fairway. At the club and pro level golf could easily be a mixed competition. if tee boxes were allocated by average driving distance on the pro tour men and women could compete. On the pro tour this would even out the competition even amongst the men as the big hitters would lose their advantage. This is a sport which is steeped in mysogyny, with some golf courses only ALLOWING women to even play the course in the last 10 years. The driving culture behind the institution of golf is patriarchal dominance, you see it in every clubhouse. Trans people are an affront to that ideal. Women are seriously late to the game so to speak, and not encouraged. yet they still closing the gap on men at the highest level. Imagine being a woman who plays off scratch, hits her drive 250, and is not allowed to play off the whites and has to play off the reds, would you want to play a round for money with her?

      So when the sun does expand in 5 million years, what’s going to prevent the other planets from being turned into charred rocks as well? All that colonization, and for what? I sincerely think we will have destroyed the earth and everything on it long before then anyway.

      What Neil said makes perfect sense because women and men come in all shapes and sizes. Just look at track and field alone. And if a woman was to play on a pro football team she would be qualified to do so because of her strength and skill and not anything to do with her gender.

      Wouldn’t it be ironic if Musk driven by his vanity as the richest man in the world everybody want to cozy up to and all these resources go into get into Mars for a so-called escape for the purpose of continuing mankind. Then we get hit by an astroid in mankind. That’s what they call them Business opportunity cost.
